Depluss Leather Shield is a professional-grade ceramic coating specially developed to protect both natural and synthetic leather surfaces. Powered by advanced Carbon Nanotechnology (CNT), this specialized formula creates a resilient protective barrier designed to defend leather interiors against pollutants, friction, liquid spills, UV exposure, and everyday wear.
The advanced CNT-based formulation helps preserve the original appearance and condition of leather by providing protection against common environmental and usage-related damage. It is designed to help prevent colour fading and leather cracking, helping maintain a supple, clean and well-preserved appearance over time.
Depluss Leather Shield provides a combination of hydrophobic, anti-pollution and UV-resistant performance, making it suitable for demanding interior applications. Its 115° water contact angle provides effective water-repellent performance, helping liquids bead on the treated surface rather than being absorbed quickly. This can also make routine maintenance easier by helping reduce the impact of everyday spills and contaminants.
The coating is suitable for a wide range of applications and industries, including automotive, marine, aviation, home and industrial environments. In addition to leather, it can be applied to compatible interior materials such as dashboards and fabrics, providing versatile surface protection.
With an initial curing time of approximately 2–3 hours at room temperature, the coating is designed for efficient professional application. The formula has a 9H hardness, a coating thickness of approximately 500 nm, and a density of 889 kg/m³. Recommended consumption is approximately 2–3 ml/m², depending on the material and application conditions.
